CVS 101

Two of our favorite stores in town are CVS and Walgreens. Since we would like to start bringing you the "deals" from those two store we felt a 101 type rundown is in order. Let's start with CVS.

It may seem overwhelming but it is not. It will cost you real money the first time you make your purchases but with coupons and sales it should be less than $15 to get you started CVSing!

CVS has been very helpful for our family budget - I very rarely pay for toiletries, cleaning supplies, medications with the help of extra care bucks and coupons.

Here is a very simple transaction that will make you $5 in extra care bucks. This deal is good through January 31st but new deals will start on the 1st of the month so don't worry we will come up with another way to help you start out.

Buy 1 Children's Throat Cooler Ice Pops at $4.99, Get $4.99 in ECB's
Buy 2 of those and use this Buy one get one free printable coupon
You will pay $4.99 plus tax and receive $9.98 in ECB's there is a limit of 5 on this deal.

I recommend if you are doing to to the deal more than once pay for them separately.

Since I have ECB's built up, I may do this transaction and throw in $5 worth of things I may need to get them free. I would do this buy using say a $10 ECB to pay for the 2 Throat pops and $5 worth of other items I need maybe milk knowing I am getting back $9.98 in ECB just make sure you use the BOGO coupon so your total is around $10.
