If you have a Kindle, Amazon is offering some free book downloads here. There is even one by Carolyn Mahaney (CJ Mahaney's wife and author of "Feminine Appeal")
If you don't have a Kindle, but have an iPhone, there is a Kindle application for the iPhone which will allow you to download books.
My husband is going to download Carolyn Mahaney's book for me on his iPhone!
