There are three different links that you can print the $5/$25 CVS coupons from, each one giving a coupon with a different bar code. Since they’re different bar codes, you should be able to use all three with the same Extra Care card!
The coupons should expire two weeks from the date printed and is valid for one use only.

$.05 credit at Target for using reusable bags!
Have I ever mentioned how much I love Target?! Here is one more point I have added to my I heart Target list!
Use a reusable shopping bag (cloth bags) at Target and receive a .05 credit per bag used! The awesome news it doesn't have to be a Target bag.
I called and spoke to Guest services at both the E. State St and 173 Target locations and they both confirmed this is a new policy with no end in sight. There are permanent signs posted at the registers and they must scan the sign for you to get your credit.

Check your mail!
Today in the mail I received a Grand Opening flyer for Burlington Coat Factory/Baby Depot! They have a new store next to the JCPenney Outlet store in Northtown Mall.
On the back . . . . a coupon for $10 off a $10 or more purchase!!! Very cool.
I assume it will work at either the new store or the store still located on E. State St. as the flyer said check us out at E. State Street. The flyer also did not mention anything about the new store?! Hmmmm not sure why they didn't advertise the new store but I heard on the radio it was open.

Have you ever had the FREE Marcal Small Steps product coupon and not been able to find that product? Currently, I have two coupons from recent newspaper inserts but have never found the single rolls or tissue boxes. Hilander carries the multi packs and the coupon can also be used for a $1 off of those.

I brought a can of Dole Pineapple, a can of peas, and threw in some Tylenol and aspirin (which aren't on the list, but I figured they probably could be of use). I brought a can of Dole Pineapple, a can of peas, and threw in some Tylenol and aspirin (which aren't on the list, but I figured they probably could be of use). It gave me the maximum of 14 minutes (I only needed about 5 minutes). I'm going to dig around the house to see if I have more to shred and maybe I'll bring Q-tips next time!

Update on Sears coupon.
I just wanted to update you all on the Sears coupon that was posted earlier in the week here. Today I went to Sears and used the coupon and it beeped when the cashier scanned it. It stated that the coupon was expired.
She knew it wasn't expired (not until Nov. 14th per the coupon) and that several of them had already come through and been used. A manager came over, corrected and accepted the coupon. However, I did hear him tell the cashier that they were only accepting the coupons until they had signs printed stating they were no longer accepting them.
I asked him why they were not accepting the coupons and he said they were issued in error. They coupon was listed directly on Sears' website which is where our link came from.
If you are lucky enough to be able to use the coupon, the junior section is pretty small. Basically they have shirts and pants that qualify as juniors.

Free Film Developing on Wednesday at Walgreens
I know most of us have digital cameras but there are still some of those who like disposable cameras or have the 35mm cameras around. Well Wednesday is your lucky day at Walgreen's then!

I love Aldi's
Have you shopped at Aldi's yet? If you haven't, you need to. Their everyday prices are great, and although you can't use coupons (or credit cards), you can save bundles of money.
If you the last time you shopped at Aldi's was years ago, then you need to go back. When I lived here 7 years ago, I did NOT like Aldi's which surprised me since that's where I shopped in France and Belgium. But now it is my staple store, along with Hilander. If something's not on sale at Hilander and I need it, I buy it at Aldi's. I've bought something from every department:
flour, sugar, chocolate chips, saltine, crackers, mayo & olive oil
milk, eggs, cheese, tortilla shells
grapes, lettuce, avocadoes, limes
frozen grape or orange juice, frozen pizzas or chicken products
canned goods, onion soup mix, condensed soups,
flowers, sandwich bags, sponges, aluminium foil
even our two chairs, folding table, garage shelving, toys
It's great! Their "staples" are there year round . . . then they have seasonal things too. The only thing I don't buy there is meat (because I buy it in bulk when on sale at Hilander). And hey, when fresh mozzarella is $3 instead of $6 or $7, that is a deal to me!
And here is the best part for those of you that are still a little shy about it . . . they offer a DOUBLE guarantee! I've only ever returned something two times in the last 3.5 years, and today was one of them. The grapes I got were obviously not ripe enough, so I took them back. The DOUBLE guarantee is this: I got my money back AND another batch of grapes (this batch is yummy). Can't lose with that guarantee!

When I lived here 7 years ago, I did NOT like Aldi's which surprised me since that's where I shopped in France and Belgium. But now it is my staple store, along with Hilander. If something's not on sale at Hilander and I need it, I buy it at Aldi's. I've bought something from every department:
flour, sugar, chocolate chips, saltine, crackers, mayo & olive oil
milk, eggs, cheese, tortilla shells
grapes, lettuce, avocadoes, limes
frozen grape or orange juice, frozen pizzas or chicken products
canned goods, onion soup mix, condensed soups,
flowers, sandwich bags, sponges, aluminium foil
even our two chairs, folding table, garage shelving, toys
It's great! Their "staples" are there year round . . . then they have seasonal things too. The only thing I don't buy there is meat (because I buy it in bulk when on sale at Hilander). And hey, when fresh mozzarella is $3 instead of $6 or $7, that is a deal to me!
And here is the best part for those of you that are still a little shy about it . . . they offer a DOUBLE guarantee! I've only ever returned something two times in the last 3.5 years, and today was one of them. The grapes I got were obviously not ripe enough, so I took them back. The DOUBLE guarantee is this: I got my money back AND another batch of grapes (this batch is yummy). Can't lose with that guarantee!

Need to fill a prescription?
This Sunday the paper didn't have any coupon inserts - I almost canceled delivery this week knowing that.
But I'm glad I didn't!

Clearance Item at Target
I scored a fabulous deal at Target on 173 yesterday. On an end cap in the Toy section was a Leapfrog Tag regularly $49.99 for $12.48. The fantastic part of this deal?! I had a $10 off coupon printed from leapfrog's website here and a $5 off Target coupon from a mailer that expired on 9/6/09.
The cashier rang through both coupons without adjusting them down so that made it a profit of $2.52! Before I purchased it, I checked out the books just to see how much they were and not on sale they are $13. Of course, I didn't buy one because I knew there were probably coupons for them and here they are!
This afternoon I plan to hit Toys R Us for one book as I now have my $3 Leap Frog coupon and a Toys R Us $3 coupon off any item and their online price is the same as Target's price.
So . . . for around $7 I will have a $69.99 gift! There were still 2 Leapfrog Tags left!

Walgreens Monthly Deals
It looks like there are 3 monthly deals running at Walgreen's this month with their Register Rewards program. Check out Common Sense with Money's post here.
I would question the ability to use the $3 off 1 coupon on the Glade candles. Walgreen's hasn't been giving out overage's lately on any coupons so you may have to buy the 2 candles, use one $3 off coupon and pay a $1 or $2 and get $1 RR. Make sense.
If the cost of the candle is less than $3 most of the Walgreen's cashiers won't accept the coupon. This may be a trial and error deal. If it works for you let us know! I am not sure on the price of these candles so it will not be an issue if they are over $3.

A Special K Deal at Target
At Target this week buy 4 Special K marked products and get a $5 Target Gift card. They should be $2.39 each.
Go to coupons.com and print a few different Special K products coupons - $1 off 1 cereal, $1 off 2 bars, .75 off chocolate pretzel bars.
