Happy New Year! I'm so thankful that God created time - it makes for new days, new weeks, new months . . . and the "favorite" around this time: a new year! There are many mornings when I am acutely aware of the gift of a new day . . . and then there is just something about a new year that is refreshing and exciting (and reminds us how quickly life passes by).
The year 2011 is a year of changes for the Pinch-a-Penny Nook blog. As you may have noticed, 2010 was a slow year for great deals, and it definitely showed in our posting on this blog! Different times call for different measures, so we have decided to revamp Pinch-a-Penny Nook. We will continue to post good deals as they come up (and we’re hoping they come back in great numbers) but plan on also making this a blog with helpful household and saving tips.

Wacky Wednesday - things to make you laugh
Toddler Thursday - educational and helpful ideas to teach and keep your toddler busy

We also plan on having guest posts on topics such as "Decorating on a Budget" or "Fashion Finds." We hope that these changes to the blog will prove to be helpful to you! We also welcome your input and tips - please feel free to email us. You may even find your tip as a guest post!
