Monday Meals - Crockpot Creamy Italian Chicken

I have my friend Suzanne to thank for this recipe. It has become a favorite at our house! It is so tasty and you can adjust how much chicken you put in it. The original recipe is for chicken with some sauce, but we make it into a sauce with chicken!

Creamy Italian Chicken

4 boneless skinless chicken breast halves
1 envelope Italian salad dressing mix
1/4 cup water
1 pkg (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
1 can (10 oz) condensed cream of chicken soup, undiluted
1 can (4 oz) mushroom stems and pieces, drained

Place chicken in slow cooker. Combine salad dressing mix and water; pour over chicken. Cover and cook on low for 3 hours. In a small mixing bowl, beat cream cheese and soup until blended. Stir in mushrooms. Pour over chicken. Cook 1 hour longer or until chicken juices run clear. Serve over rice or noodles. (4 servings)

I don't use mushrooms and right before adding the cream cheese/soup mixture, I cut up the chicken into pieces to make it a sauce with chicken. SUPER yummy!!!!
